Story

Klein specializes in tiny houses designed by the world’s leading architects. Their first launch, the A45 home, is a cabin style A-frame designed by Bjarke Ingels with a full wall of glass to bring the beauty of the outdoors into a fully sustainable, off-the-grid haven.

Stykka was brought along to design the kitchen that fitted the 17m2 space and reflected  minimal Nordic abode prioritized for ‘hyggelig’ comfort and design. After numerous prototypes both in VR and physical, we decided on an elegant looking kitchen clad in CO2 neutral Forbo Linoleum, that includes everything needed to live off grid.

The modules are manufactured on Stykka’s digital carpenter platform and made from durable, sustainably sourced FSC100 plywood. The kitchen is designed for disassembly making it possible to easily replace elements subject to wear and tear, in order to prolong the lifespan of the kitchen.
